Terms of Use
By downloading or using the CartDunedin app, you agree to these terms.
The short version: routes, crossings, and ETAs are guidance only and may contain errors. Knowing where golf carts are legal — and driving safely — is your responsibility.
1. Guidance only — no warranty
CartDunedin provides navigation suggestions based on the City of Dunedin's published golf-cart network data. That data, and the app's interpretation of it, may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. The app is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
2. Your responsibilities
- You are solely responsible for operating your cart legally and safely: knowing where golf carts are permitted, obeying all traffic laws, signals, signage, and posted limits, and yielding as required.
- Florida law caps golf carts at 25 MPH on public roads. The app's speed setting and readouts are informational only.
- Always follow real-world road conditions over app guidance. Do not interact with the app while the cart is moving.
- You are responsible for confirming your cart itself meets local legal requirements for street operation.
3. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CartDunedin and its developer are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app — including citations, fines, accidents, injuries, property damage, or losses resulting from routing errors, data inaccuracies, GPS behavior, or app unavailability.
4. Privacy
The app collects nothing. See the Privacy Policy.
5. Changes
These terms may be updated; the "Last updated" date above will change and the current version will always live at this URL. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. Material changes are re-presented for acknowledgment in the app.
